Epoxy Series I was a series of pieces created for a show I did in a local coffee shop. I started with some sort of container like a box or lid or even a plastic mold, and used paint, collage, writing, and doodling which I then covered in a layer of clear epoxy (specifically, Envirotex Lite). I would repeat the process to build up layers in each piece.
This piece was created in a plastic mold and then removed when finished. It incorporates collage and found objects. I also made a latex mold of a model skull and cast a light blue epoxy skull to incorporate into the piece.
