Goddess Series: We Are One II
My Goddess Series was done in clay. The pieces are decorated in white slip and underglazes and coated in clear glaze. I fired them in my electric kiln at about cone 05. They hang on the wall. The imagery depicts two goddess-type figures...one of light and one of dark. One of life and one of death. They depict the duality and cycle of human life and nature.

This piece is a tile roughly the size of a normal kitchen tile. It hangs on the wall with an attached red ribbon. It depicts both goddesses in a mirror-image format. They are really one and the same.
