Goddess Series: We Are One I
My Goddess Series was done in clay. The pieces are decorated in white slip and underglazes and coated in clear glaze. I fired them in my electric kiln at about cone 05. They hang on the wall. The imagery depicts two goddess-type figures...one of light and one of dark. One of life and one of death. They depict the duality and cycle of human life and nature.

This piece is a tile roughly the size of a normal kitchen tile. It hangs on the wall with an attached red ribbon. It depicts both goddesses and the word "sister" in runes. The goddesses are really one and the same.
